By submitting an entry and checking the "I agree to the Terms & Conditions" box, you agree to these Official Rules and Terms.
Eligibility and entry rules
Who can enter
- Anyone of any age can enter. If the entrant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian has to fill out the entry form and accept these Terms for them.
- One entry per person.
- Employees and owners of the Shop and their immediate families and household members can't enter, vote or win.
What you can enter
- Theme: anything that goes on a Christmas tree, such as ornaments, toppers, garland, clips or holders.
- Filament or resin: FDM (filament) and resin prints are both allowed. The same rules apply to both.
- Printed by you: the entrant has to print the entry on a printer they own or have access to. Bought, commissioned or gifted prints aren't allowed.
- Any design: existing models and original designs both count. The entry should be mostly 3D printed, so a store-bought ornament with printed parts added isn't allowed.
- Weight: the finished entry has to weigh 100.0g or less. That includes hooks, wire, paint, filler, glue, LEDs, batteries and every other part. The Shop weighs each entry at drop-off, and the Shop's scale is final.
- Multi-piece entries: a garland or a set of pieces counts as one entry, and all the pieces together have to weigh 100.0g or less.
- Lights: LEDs and batteries are allowed and count toward the weight limit.
- Display: the entry has to hang on the display tree, or sit on it without help, or come with its own stand.
- Content: keep it family friendly. The Shop can refuse any entry it decides is offensive or inappropriate.
How to enter
- Bring your entry to the Shop during regular shop hours between Monday, November 30, 2026 and 5:00 PM Central on Monday, December 7, 2026. No entries are accepted after 5:00 PM Central on December 7, 2026. No mail-in entries.
- Staff weighs the entry and gives you a numbered tag. Then scan the entry QR code and fill out the form using the number on your tag. Someone else can drop off your entry, but the form has to list the entrant's own name and phone number.
- An entry over the weight limit is handed back. You can fix it and bring it in again before entries close.
- Entries are shown by number only until the winners are announced.
Voting and winner selection
- Only people with an accepted entry can vote. Each entry gets one vote.
- Voting is in person at the Shop on Monday, December 7, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Central. Scan the vote QR code at the Shop and enter your phone number, your own entry number, your vote, and the event code announced at 5:00 PM.
- A vote counts only if it:
- comes in between 5:00 and 6:00 PM Central
- has the correct event code
- has a phone number and entry number that match an accepted entry
- is the first vote for that entry
- isn't for the voter's own entry
- Any vote that misses one of those is thrown out. The Shop has a tablet at the vote table for anyone without a working phone.
- Results are kept hidden until the winners are announced.
- The three entries with the most valid votes take 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Ties for any place are broken by random draw.
- If an entry or entrant is found to have broken these rules, it's disqualified. That holds even after winners are announced. Any prize is forfeited and moves to the next-highest valid entry.
Prizes and claiming
- 1st place: one Snapmaker U1, provided by Snapmaker.
- 2nd place: 4 spools of SUNLU filament, provided by SUNLU. 2nd place chooses their spools first.
- 3rd place: 4 spools of SUNLU filament, provided by SUNLU.
- All prizes go out no matter how many people enter.
- Winners don't have to be at the event. The Shop contacts winners who aren't there using the phone number or email on their entry. A prize has to be picked up at the Shop within 14 days of that contact. After 14 days the prize is forfeited and goes to the next-highest valid entry.
- Prizes can't be exchanged for cash, transferred or swapped. If a prize becomes unavailable, the Shop can substitute one of equal or greater value.
- Warranty and support for each prize come from its manufacturer, not the Shop.
- Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize. The Shop may require a completed IRS Form W-9 before handing over a prize where the law requires it.
- If the winner is under 18, their parent or guardian accepts the prize for them.
Terms and conditions
Filming, photography and media release
- The event, the drop-off area and the entries may be filmed, photographed and recorded by the Shop, KeoPrints and their partners. That includes video, photos, audio and livestreams.
- By entering, you grant the Shop, KeoPrints, Snapmaker and SUNLU permission to use your name, likeness, voice, image and entry in any media. That covers YouTube, social media, podcasts, websites, ads and printed materials, worldwide and forever, with no payment, notice or approval required.
- The same permission covers any minor in your care and any guest who comes with you. You confirm you have the authority to agree for them. They may appear on camera directly or in the background.
- A notice at the door tells everyone that filming is happening. Anyone who doesn't want to be filmed should tell staff, and the Shop will make reasonable efforts to keep them out of the footage. The Shop can't guarantee it, especially in livestreams or wide shots.
- Winners' names, entry numbers and photos may be announced and posted publicly.
Your entry
- You keep ownership of your print and your design. By entering, you give the Shop permission to display, photograph and film it.
- You confirm the entry is yours to enter and doesn't knowingly infringe anyone's rights. If you used an existing model, you're responsible for following its license.
- Entries are handled and displayed at your own risk. The Shop isn't responsible for entries that are lost, stolen or damaged, including damage from handling, display or other attendees.
- You can pick up your entry the night of the event, during regular shop hours afterward, or leave it with the Shop. Any entry left at the Shop becomes Shop property, and the Shop can display, keep or dispose of it.
Safety and liability
- You attend at your own risk. You're responsible for your own conduct and for supervising any minors with you.
- As far as the law allows, you release the Shop, its owners and staff, KeoPrints, Snapmaker and SUNLU from any claims for injury, loss or damage connected to the event, your entry or any prize.
- Entries with batteries or LEDs have to be safe and contain no exposed wiring. Resin entries have to be fully washed and cured. The Shop can refuse any entry it decides is unsafe.
Your information
- The Shop uses your name, phone number and email to run this event. That includes checking votes and contacting winners. Your information is never sold.
- The Shop only sends you marketing emails or texts if you check the separate opt-in box on the entry form. You can opt out at any time.
- By entering, you agree that the Shop may contact you by phone call or text about this event, including about winning.
General
- The Shop's decisions on eligibility, weight, disqualification, voting and winners are final.
- The Shop can change, postpone or cancel this event, or change these rules, if it needs to. Changes are posted on this page.
- This event is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Google, YouTube, Meta or any other platform.
